Food Insecurity is Real in Greenville County

Food insecurity can affect people from all walks of life. Millions of people in America are just one job loss, missed paycheck, or medical emergency away. But it doesn’t affect everyone equally.

Some groups, like children, seniors, African Americans, Indigenous people and other people of color face food insecurity at much higher rates. Food insecurity also most often affects our neighbors who live in poverty.
